MacIntyre Chocolate Systems is a subsidiary of Low and Duff (Developments) Limited (LADCO). Based in Arbroath, Scotland, MacIntyre Chocolate Systems produce a wide range of machinery for the confectionery, biscuit and ice cream industries throughout the world. We have built up a worldwide reputation for the design and engineering of a wide range of products that have been tested in a variety of environments in 138 countries worldwide, and have been acclaimed as one of the best chocolate manufacturing equipment suppliers in the world market today.
The Ladco Group consists of MacIntyre Chocolate Systems, Petzholdt Heidenauer and Beetz Mixing Technology. It has been 6 years since Petzholdt Heidenauer joined the Ladco Group. The merging of these specialists allows the group to offer a complete range of equipment from bean handling right through to the finished chocolate product. The equipment range of MacIntyre, Petzholdt and Beetz complement each other ideally and the accumulated knowledge of these companies is quite unique and highly beneficial for our customers.
Both Petzholdt Heidenauer and Macintyre have been supplying the industry since the mid 1830's. They supply equipment to 138 countries worldwide, completing some of the largest orders placed for chocolate processing equipment, working out of their two centres.
The Scottish centre was completed in 2000 and the third assembly shop was completed in Germany in 2008. These two companies have created a strong design and development team and we manufacture all components within our own organization. We are one of the few companies worldwide that make all the components for our machinery within our own organization. This helps to control costs, on time delivery and the maintenance of our high quality standards required in the world markets today. We now have the capacity to offer quicker deliveries on our products with the availability of utilizing both manufacturing plants.
